"Even the best fall down sometimes" -TG
I relaplsed. Whoops! But I know that relapse is a part of recovery. A best friend of mine from PHP&IOP and my clinicians are the best outlet.
It began with a four month secretive relapse of behaviors; due to an anxiety side effect of the wrong medicine. It has been discerned that mental illness (anxiety and depression) are only symptomatic of BDmD.
I have learned that I can find consolation by studying Harriet Brown literature.
to control compulsions. Quitting less potent street drugs is easier to achieve than you think. The mind is the opposition when anxious or doubtful about moderation of any substance compulsion (binge drinking is most common.) Only one receptor controls craving to compulsively as a coping mechanism. Ozur poor habits are product of filling a void; be it love, intimacy, sex, cigarettes, or any drug. Knowing This makes moderation literally, physically 50% easier. Knowledge is power. No one escapes this life unscathed. Being non judgmental is a virtue.
Keep Calm & Carry On
You're always capable of more than you may believe.
